Failed FBI polygraph

I was recently informed that I failed an FBI polygraph. I know everyone says this, but I have no idea why I failed and I was completely truthful (that’s a whole other story in itself). I am currently a federal agent and have had a TS clearance since 2000. I passed a poly with a large DHS agency with no problem, and have undergone 3 extensive background investigations with no issues.

Will the failed poly affect my current TS clearance? Are all the horror stories true that I may not be able to go to any other federal agency due to the failed polygraph?

I’ve heard so many different stories. I just want some accurate facts of what I’m facing with this unfortunate result.
