SF-85 Clearance with a Record?

I’d like some advice, or rather reassurance, concerning “security clearance” in regards to an SF-85. I was recently given an offer of employment with a federal agency. However, this is contingent upon a couple of things, one of which is “a preliminary security clearance.”

To my understanding, it is a “non-sensitive position.” In college I got in some trouble for consuming a candy bar in a convenience store and I was convicted of retail theft, summary offense. I was fingerprinted, fined & released. No jail time or anything. I am now 25 and this happened a little over 3 yrs ago.

I have already been forthcoming about the offense on my Declaration for Federal Employment, as well as the initial application. Nonetheless, now I am worried that the review is incomplete and my offer will be rescinded.

Could someone please give me some insight to either reaffirm or negate my concerns? Thanks, the peace of mind will be appreciated.
